CiteGround

About / the practice

CiteGround measures what it sells, in public, misses included.

What kind of practice is CiteGround?

An AI-GTM practice that builds its own measurement instruments. We get B2B SaaS named in AI answers and publish how we measure it.

The harness behind every figure on this site is built in-house, and it ran on our own product before it pointed at anyone else's. Devtools and fintech infrastructure are home turf; that is where the practice concentrates while funded competitors spread thin across every vertical at once.

Why should you trust the numbers here?

Every number publishes with its noise floor: variance bands, pre-registered experiments, nulls shipped on the committed schedule.

The brand is measurement honesty, so the incentives point the right way: a bad reading gets published, priced, and fixed instead of buried in slide 14. Thresholds and read dates are committed before the data comes in, the archive is append-only from run #1, and you can check every claim on the evidence log.

Who founded CiteGround?

Ali Varinlioglu, a technical operator who has shipped and run B2B SaaS end to end. The sample teardown is his own product's gap, published.

Ali Varinlioglu founded and runs the practice after years of shipping and operating B2B SaaS: product, growth machinery, and the data work in between. The relevant proof is live on this site: the teardown of his own product showing 0% share of voice, and the pre-registered experiment being run on it in public.
